Math Project on Pie Charts--Surveys and Excel

Today I ran a class on teaching my students how to use Excel, how to conduct a survey, and how to insert a pie chart into an Excel Spreadsheet.  It was a rousing success.  When they do the survey, the students can choose any item as long as the item has five choices.  This was very exciting for them.


  Excel Directions:
How to Enter Data:
a.  open excel workbook
b.  enter in cell a3:  Activities
c. enter in cell a4 the different activities.  soccer, basketball, hockey, football, scouts, and maths club.
d.  enter in cell b3:  Number of Students
e.  enter in cell b4 and onward, the number of students in each.  the table should look like:
